Do you think games consoles like the Playstation are in part responsible for the increases in obesity that we are seeing?

No, I think things like Mickey D's and fast food places have a major role also, but I don't think computer games help matters.

No, I don't think so. I believe there are several other contributing factors in this subject matter. But I to agree that several kids need to exercise a bit more.

Well, that said - too many adults need to get off the bums too. Laughing

Where do you work?

Im old. Im 28. And working makes it awfully hard to keep fit, but I also teach aerobics on the side. So that helps. Wink

Bum and me are best freinds.
i work on my bum.
play on my bum.
sleep on my bum.
and drink chocolate milk while on my bum.
But in the end i still care about my bum to take karate classes to stay fit and kick other peoples bums. Why? Because bum and me are best freinds. Cool

Sleeping is when you dream about getting killed by your fav character. Very Happy Oh, and giving your organs and brain a rest. If you dont rest then your body wont grow. No sleep = Grumpy Midgets. (no affense to any midgets on this site! Shocked Dont sue!!!)

The two most important factors in keeping fit are diet and exercise. Games may very well be distracting kids from getting exercise, but it has nothing to do with their eating habits. So, I agree that it's the Whoppers that are turning kids into, well, whoppers.

If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense to take care of your health. That way you'll live longer, which means you'll have that much more time to play games.

Ummm... games DO effect eating habits.
For example: in Tomba 2 you make and eat sandwiches to make unwanted status effects to go away. Guess what i had a craving for after playing the game. Sad That's right. Sandwiches. A whole month of it at that! Now tell me this isn't brainwahing Exclamation
