I think this is all marketing and ps3 will be available soon (first quartet of 2006)

I don't think that XBOX 1.5 will be a flop, there are enough XBOX fanboys that it will sell alot, so waiting to release the PS3 would be a mistake. The next generation of systems is personally what I've been waiting for all these years, and if I had to wait another year for the PS3 I would just go buy an XBOX 1.5, even though I don't like XBOX. After having spent $4,000,000 on an XBOX 1.5, I would probably never buy a PS3 because it will be $5,000,000 and I can only spend that much every once in a while. I don't think Sony is going to mess around this time, they will have everything in order for release because with all the XBOX/PS comparisons, most people have trouble choosing which is better. A VERY late release by Sony would seal it's fate.

thats very good news, if it came out in 2007, they would be really behind, xbox would most likely release a new system within 4 years from that, and sony would have to rush there next system or they would really fall behind.
Now them releasing it spring 2006, that would still keep them on track with the xbox... good choice.

I think the playstation would die if they had it released in 2007, so many people would buy the xbox instead.

bah whats the point in standing in line? I dont get that, im sleeping then, i think sleeping is better then standing outside for a few hours.
