Why do u call people cunts its very offensive! I must say i do love the 360 and i think the ps3 is better but i dont think its $200 better. I think that buying a ps3 is a bit risky though because if HD DVD wins against Blu-Ray ps3 games will become very expensive.

The xbox 360 will have sold 10million consoles by the time ps3 comes out. There will be the second wave of games coming out and alot of developers will have got around the way the xbox 360 works and the games will look way more impresive than the release titles that came out and for the nintendo wii, its not about the graphics its about playing the games, im really looking foward to playing it. If PS3 came down to a reasonable price i would get it but its not and i wont be ripped off.

The Xbox 360 may have sold a million units by the arrival of the PS3 (fore more months away  ). However...the developers will be more interested in the PS3 since it will be a new console. The Xbox 360 will be replaced just like the PS2, and PS3 will be the number 1 gaming tool, that also includes the PSP. I dont no where you get off saying its not about the graphics...ITS ALL about the graphics. Its the next Generation of gaming, and we want better and improved graphics along with memory and speed. As for the Price for the PS3 I think its perfect, $600 is not that bad. If you are cheap and want a reasonable price, just go for the 20GB version which would be $400. You would only get "ripped off" if you purchase a Xbox 360

You'll get ripped off if you purchase the 20gb ps3!!! it IS just a pathetic piece of the entire deliciousely constructed 60gb pie that everyone wants to get their hands on. Why TASTE the ultimate gaming experience when you can engorge yourself on the entire system at its best! Live in your world. Play in ours. is NOT just a slogan. Its a promise. A promise that millions of gamers around the world thrive & exist on. For years Playstation has kept their promise. But alas, the consumers for which they dedicated their lives to serve has turned their backs on them. Why? Because of some petty price of $600. To let something so trivial, so meaningless, so irrelevant as to go and let true entertainment like that slip away from our grasp is too painful to imagine. So go ahead. buy your lesser technology. WOW!! Those are wise words!! I might get a ps3 i am being convinced but hmmm.... its just that i dont really like sony at all cause they just shove a load of security crap in all there products and that really pisses me off and theres been rumours that the ps3 will have linux and the operating programme is done by apple!! Its not official but ive heard that from alot of websites. With the xbox 360 im gonna wait for a chip to come out for it so i can download games of the web for free!! (p.s. downloading illegal copies of games is wrong!!, but who cares ?!)

Yes, the cell clocked at 3.2GHz and has 9 cores (one control processor and 8 SPEs). but you cant compair GHz to GHZ, because the processors are two completely different designs. it just doesnt work. like another guy said: intel vs amd. 1st, the cell uses pure vector processors which are alot more efficient than the 360s general purpose G5 derivatives, so they can do more at a lower clock. 2nd there are 8 of them. 3rd each SPE has its own dedicated pool of memory instead of cache. there is NO system memory. which means that there is also no lag time between the processor and memory, speeding up the whole system. using dedicated ram instead of cache also helps to make the processor run closer to its 'paper' speeds by getting rid of inefficiencies inherent in cache ( i am not 100% on the details of this point however.). 4th it has INSANE system bandwidth. this means that it can interact with the other parts with less lag time and more information can be transmitted between them. 5th, as a vector processor it can also render graphics. meaning it can help the gpu do its job if it has some free time. 6th, blueray can hold more data and transfer that data faster than dvd and hd dvd. they are also researching multi layer discs that currently hold 100GB. 7th, 1080p, is just damn sexy. 1920x1080 without interlacing. 2 outputs for ultra widescreen over 2 screens no less! kinda puts the 360s 1080i in the shade. for those that dont know 1080i takes abot as much horsepower as about 540p and doesnt look anywhere near as good. and that is part of why the ps3 is technically superior to the 360. Also, it's already well known that the PS3's Open GL is far superior to Direct X10. It's clear that rotocheese doesn't know anything about computers.

There's not a computer on the planet that can touch Cell in any area. Be it memory management, parallel computing, downright speed, whatever. Even the new, highly generic and underwhelming multi-core Intel and AMD processors pale in comparison to Cells capabilities.
Now that the final devkits are out and Cell / RSX are working through the incredibly fast and efficient FlexIO from Rambus those PC's they are using, no matter what they are, aren't going to be able to duplicate what a PS3 will be capable of.
This is why I've been saying for awhile that the PS3 will be able to keep pace with the PC's for years to come without problem. Its just superior in speed, precision, cycle losses being minimized, mathematic processing, physics, geometry, shaders, whatever. Maybe in 4 or 5 years a PC will exist that will make the PS3 port have to be downgraded in a way, but until then its highly doubtful.
The PS3 is a severely underpriced product. The state of the art Cell Processor, Blu-Ray capabilites, DVR capabilites, the ability to stream any media wirelessly from your PS3 to your PSP anywhere in the world, built in Wi-Fi, and true 1080p high definition. The Cell Processor alone should cost upwards of $4,000. The PS3 is a steal and you're a fool not to think so.

the 360 is sick! anybody denying that is full of shit! i can guarentee that moonlight was on an overnite line to buy a 360 last november! lol
SO STOP FRONTING MOONLIGHT!
you will not see what the ps3 is capable of graphically till next year, so the 360 does have 1 up on it! there is no denying that!
the 360 has the "marketplace" which is abosultely GENIUS!
to be able to d/l demos, trailers, movies,pics, etc etc ITS INSANE!
im pretty sure that everyone here, will have both systems if not all 3....(wii is pretty gay)
its going to be next to impossible to get a ps3 before xmas....and why bother? basically all the games for the ps3 will, and are already available for 360, and they will be direct 360 ports! so whats the fuss all about?
hahahahahah its pretty funny when you think about it.....
oh and another thing....i cant wait to hear all the horrible stories of the system malfunctioning! YOU KNOW THAT IS A CERTAINTY!
next xmas, the ps3's games should look better, and play better, but this xmas, save your money, and your time, and just play the 360.....let sony come to you
