i haven't read anything official, but i would bet they'll will continue for a few months after the relaes of the new system.

I think there going to keep making it for a few months, i also think they said they were going to continue making ps2 games for a couple months after also.

If i remember right they made ps1 games for quite a while after the ps2 was released.

yea i think they did.. but not many new ones, they just kept making ones already out.

I think that they will still keep making them at least for a while. It not the PS2 system is doing badly, but I image that they won't make them for too long because the PS3 should have some pretty cool games out that will sell very well.

Well, alot of my friends havnt replaced it yet, so i dont know how you can say it doesnt work.

no way. they'll focus on the PS3 production instead of the PS2. they'll loose money if they dont. and as for the games...a few more PS2 games and that's it. It'll all be PS3.

it'd be no point to make new Ps2 games, the Ps3 will be in the spotlight. Either way all the good games are on ps3 like ffXIII

proabaly eventually they have stopped making other consoles that sold even till today you ahve to go to like a buy store and hope they ahve an antique one there.
